You appear to be suffering from severe depressive symptoms, commonly
associated with serious depressive disorders, such as major depressive
disorder or dysthymia. These symptoms appear to be causing you some
serious impairment and distress in your normal, everyday functioning. You
would likely benefit from the immediate attention of your physician or a
trained mental health professional for further evaluation and a more
accurate diagnosis and treatment.
You should not take this score to represent a mental disorder diagnosis or
any type of behavioral healthcare treatment recommendation. Always
consult with a trained mental health professional if you are experiencing
depressive feelings and/or difficulties in your daily functioning that cause
you anxiety or worry.
I rock at taking tests. I wonder if I maxxed it out? Now for the mania looking one. That looks like fun too.
HUGS!

PPS. I found another personality one. The mini set of answers sucked but the details they gave were more interesting. I will look for the url again and post it.
You have to get a log in and the detailed information is free if you provide a real email address for it to go to. Since I didn’t want later spam I just made a free address to take the subsequent email.
The test supposedly categorizes you into subsets for your thinking, working, and emotional processes. I came out Eccentrik (with a K), Evokateur (with a K), and Scintillator. I didn’t really feel like the quicky information that you get directly after the tests reflects who I am but the detailed information that you get later (you must have Adobe Acrobat Reader at a minimum to open it) was more accurate.
I have a low possibility of being depressed. Good thing too. I used to have to write tests once every two weeks or so to see if my therapy and meds were helping. Nice to know I’ve made it back
I got a 17, but that’s only because of my usual bouts with holiday depression (I’ve been known to cry in the middle of a crowded New Years Eve party).
My brother used to work for IntelliHealth. This wasn’t the only proposed test they were setting up that might lower your self esteem. One guy actually proposed a Death-O-Meter! It would take your date of birth, weight, health history, etc. and calculate how long you have to live! Needless to say, I don’t think they put that one online! Man, I think I’m gonna have to e-mail him this one!
I got a 25. That’s sort of…hehe…depressing. But really, let’s all face it-the week between Christmas and New Years has got to be the worst week ever; the idealized conception of what that week will be like is always a magical fun-filled week of end-of-the-year bliss, but in reality it usually results in (at least for me) not doing anything but counting the days until new years eve for a legitimate excuse to get smashed. Weehaw! Now, if this thread had been brought up, say, in the middle of july, then maybe some of these scores wouldn’t be so astronomically it’s-a-miracle-i-got-it-together-long-enough-to-take-this-test-and-not-shoot-myself-instead high.
I seem to be the current low scorer with a score of 1 on the OP. I fear not however, as being surrounded by weeping multitudes of fellow posters is likely to raise my score exponentially by this time next week.
Simetra’s test: Your CESD score is 21.
Only a trained professional who has been able to interview you will be able to determine if you have depression. However your score on the CESD indicates that you have a moderate probability of having depression at this time.
BornDodgy’s test: You scored a total of 31. (Mild - Moderate)
You appear to be suffering from mild to moderate depressive symptoms, commonly associated with depressive disorders. These symptoms appear to be causing you some noticeable signs of impairment and distress, and would likely benefit from the attention of a trained mental health professional for further evaluation and a more accurate diagnosis.
Lost’s test: You scored a total of 21. (Borderline Mania)
You appear to experiencing some symptoms commonly associated with mania or hypomania, but which are also found amongst the general population. These symptoms appear to border on the possibility of a manic or hypomanic episode. These symptoms also appear to be causing you some mild signs of impairment and distress, and would likely benefit from the attention of a trained mental health professional for further evaluation and a more accurate diagnosis.
Wow, I’m moderately depressed and borderline manic, at the same time.
*You scored a total of 36. You appear to be suffering from moderate to severe depressive symptoms, commonly associated with serious depressive disorders, such as major depressive disorder or dysthymia. These symptoms appear to be causing you some serious impairment and distress in your normal, everyday functioning. Not bad for a guy who’s supposed to be on his meds.
