Do you look like any celebrities?

When my hair was long and permed; Kate Winslet in Titanic.

As a child; Annie. Little red haired kid with a bad perm and freckles? Oh yes. My mother even made me an Annie dress. And I had the locket. In english and french…

I have no pictures of myself online (keep thinking about it, though) but I’ve been told repeatedly and do believe that I look a lot like musician Me’shell Ndege’ocelo.

Except I’ve got hair.

Ummm, how about http://www.geocities.com/barret_oliver1973/photoeng.htm for the Barret Oliver link…

:wally

Quasi needs to learn to use the word or instead of and in sentences like that!

Maybe I should explain that it depends a lot on how I wear my hair, and if I have on those round glasses/sunglasses, but yeah, I have heard all three, just not at the same time, FCM!

Q

I get Alanis Morrissette all the time. To the point where tourists visiting Toronto will approach me to doublecheck. In truth, I’ve some some photographs in which we do bear a starting resemblance (even my mom says so). So I’m guessing that if you spot me at the right angle, it’s a mistake easily made.

I’m also told I look like Jamie Gertz, a.k.a. “that chick from the Lost Boys movie” – again, my mom agrees with this one.

My SO has been told ad nauseum that she looks like Ally Sheedy.

This is kind of weird, but…

When I lived in London, I was walking out of the main Dunhill store and I ran into Roger Ebert (he was writing a book on ‘great London walks’ or something like that). We both stopped and looked at each other and I said something like “I’m a big fan” and he laughed and said something like “If you hadn’t spoken, I would have thought you were Alan Bates!”

So, if I looked like Alan Bates to Roger Ebert circa 1986, I guess I would have to say that - at one time, anyway, I resembled Alan Bates (who really isn’t too famous in the U.S., I guess).

-bbb-

Yep. Gillian Anderson. Constantly. Especially when I wear a suit. More especially in bars where I’ve been “Scully’d” from across the bar. I was once offered 50 bucks to attend a sci-fi convention in Chicago to walk around and hand out flyers (no, thanks). Then I happened to be in Holland when the movie came out and people would think I was her…got my picture snapped a few times over the years as well. My husband (he’s smart) tells me I could pass for her younger, hotter sister.

Wow, cute picture (love women with glasses.) I’d say you resemble both Sissy Spacek (back when she did “Badlands” with Martin Sheen), and her daughter, actress Schuyler Fisk (who co-starred with Jack Black and Colin Hanks in "Orange County).

Yep, Barbra Striesand. I’ve even had construction workers yell “Hey Barbra!” at me. It’s kinda disconcerting - my Mom’s name was Barbara!

I don’t get it so much anymore, though. I’m also a dead ringer for the TV critic in the local paper.

As a teen i looked like Ralph Macchio, which by the way did nothing in the getting-chicks department. Now, I have no idea. People say I remind them of Michael Madsen, Mr Blonde from Reservoir Dogs. But that’s probably because I’m psycho.

Check my www link for a pic of me.
Tell me I’m beautiful.
