I notice on all these kitched gadget commercials and infommercials that everyone has big smiles and are just a-noddin’ away.
I don’t recall ever having seen that kind of response IRL. I know I don’t. Do you?
I do believe that these people are nodding as if to say, “Yes, this product is great! The food is FABulous!” That’s just a WAG, I have nothing to back it up.
I’d nod if the camera’s on me and my mouth is full, I guess.
I only nod if my mouth is full and someone asks me a question to which the answer is “yes”. (usually the question is “do you want more coffee?” - yeah, right - like they should even bother to ask)
