Do you share your birthday with someone famous?

Brooke Shields and Clint Eastwood.

“Go ahead… make my birthday.”

Dern database timed out.

One more… John freakin’ Bonham.

Hey! Me too!

You forgot Detroit Tiger Alan Trammell, writers Anais Nin and Chuck Palahnuik, and actors Alan Rickman, William Peterson and Tyne Daly. Sweet!

I not only share the same birthday with Lynette Fromme, we both went to the same junior high school.

How much is “a bit younger”? I was born in 1967…could we be ‘twins’?

I have a cousin who was born on the same day as me…you aren’t her, are you?

October 9.

The big one for me–always, since I first learned about it–to share my birthday is John Lennon (1940). A fact that has always had a big influence on my life. Other interesting names on the list:

1903 - Walter O’Malley, American baseball executive (d. 1979)

1907 - Jacques Tati, French filmmaker (d. 1982)

1937 - Brian Blessed, English actor

1941 - Brian Lamb, Founder of C-SPAN

1944 - John Entwistle, British musician (The Who) (d. 2002)

1948 - Jackson Browne, American musician

1952 - Sharon Osbourne, English music manager and wife of Ozzy Osbourne

1953 - Tony Shalhoub, American actor

1964 - Guillermo del Toro, Mexican film director

1970 - Annika Sörenstam, Swedish golfer

1980 - Henrik Zetterberg, Swedish ice hockey player

1992 - Tyler James Williams, American actor

(List from Wikipedia)

Not a bad mix there. It’s a little disappointing, though, that no one deemed worthy of notice was born on the same date (10/9/68) as me. Maybe that says something about my life.

I share my birthday with LL Cool J, Faye Dunaway, Yukio Mishima, Zakk Wylde, Andy Rooney, Jason Bateman, Albert Schweitzer, and Dave Grohl

My son shares his birthday with Martin Luther King Jr, which is really cool. When it passed midnight and he wasn’t born yet, I was excited. His due date was on the 19th and I was hoping he’d get either the 15th or the 19th. That way he’d have MLK or Edgar Allen Poe to share a birthday with. My husband is a former boxer and he thinks it’s neat that he has Bernard Hopkins as a birthday buddy.

Hmmph. I came in here to post mine, but you beat me to it.

Michael Bond (the creator of Paddington Bear), Robert Stack, Sophie Tucker, Stephen Hendry (snooker player) and Suggs from the band Madness

I googled my birthday, John Hancock (the Declaration of Independence guy), Kirstie Alley and Rob Zombie were the ones that popped out at me doing a quick scan of the list. Heck Rob Zombie was even born the same year.

I have had what some say is an irrational hatred of Susan Lucci for many years. You can imagine my chagrin to find out she brought the torment to a whole 'nother level by having MY birthday (December 23). Of course, those same people who say my hatred of SL is irrational also insist that it’s the other way around since she’s older than me (Yeah, take THAT, Susan!) but how seriously can you take the opinion of anyone who doesn’t find Susan Lucci annoying as hell?

I prefer to think that Eric Clapton shares his birthday with me (The Cream always rises to the top). Also some nobody called Vincent Van Gogh.

Sir Isaac Newton, Humphrey Bogart, and Jesus.

Vlad the Impaler/Dracula, Bram Stoker (funny that they share a birthday), Margaret Mitchell, Gordon Ramsay, and Tom Anderson (president of MySpace).

Caligula. Also, Richard Gere.

Natalie Merchant, Cary Elwes, Hillary Clinton, Jaclyn Smith, and Bob Hoskins

Marie Antoinette
James K. Polk
George Boole
Warren G. Harding
Harlow Shapley
Burt Lancaster
Pat Buchanan (birthday and alma mater… eurrrrgh)
Shere Hite
Carter Beauford (on the drums!)
kd lang
David Schwimmer
“Fieldy” Arvizu (same date and year)
NELLY?!

Those are just the ones I’ve heard of, anyway. Oh, and Daniel Boone, although he was born before the calendar jumped 15 days so back then it was Oct 22.

Iron Mike Tyson

Cary Elwes and I have the exact same birthday. One of us is much better looking than the other, though.

Also, you forgot Dylan McDermott.

Hillary Clinton and I share a birthday - not the same year, though.
