The opposition always has several.
In Britain, the loser of the main election is usually still in Parliament and is the party leader until another is named.
Here we have 1) an ex-candidate with no formal role, 2) a party chairman who has no role in policy and platform decisions, and 3) & 4) separate party leaders for house and senate.
If there were one person leading the opposition would that be a good thing?
