I’m amazed at the number of people I meet who dislike BOTH presidential candidates (or all three if you want to include Ralph Nader). When I ask who they think they might vote for they answer that when the time comes they will vote for the lesser of two (or three) evils.
So, quick poll. Are you going to vote FOR your candidate because you really want to see that guy in office or are you voting AGAINST the candidate that you DO NOT want to see in office?
Me? So far my vote is of the AGAINST persuasion. Something might change between now and election day to make me REALLY like one of the candidates but I’m not holding my breath.
As an aside…does anyone think this would be a good polling question that Gallup (or CNN or whoever) should ask? Do any of the polling orgs ask something like this?
