Doctor Who: Forest of the Dead

This just in: Doctor Moon is an incarnation of the Doctor!

That episode was 12 Fricken years ago? Damn I’m getting old. :frowning:

I had seen the article about Doctor Moon. Reading through this thread is amusing, now that we know what will happen with Donna (just saw Journey’s End last week :frowning: ) and River Song’s adventures with two more doctors makes this statement really outdated

Doctor Who will always have so many different twists and turns, even if it ends again, it will probably come back again.

Everyone gets to be the Doctor now.
Davros is the Doctor. The Master is the Doctor. Rory, Nyssa, Meglos, K-9 Mark II, Liz Shaw, the Kandy Man (not to be confused with Sammy Davis Jr.), Peri, Teran Capel, Sammy Davis Jr., Turlough, Azaxyr and Micky are all the Doctor. The Great Intelligence, surprisingly, is one of the few who are not the Doctor.

I’m starting to wonder if I’ve been the Doctor all this time. Maybe you are too.
Not only was David Naughton the Doctor but he revealed what his true name is.

Since this has been rezzed, I want to address one of the comments.

I don’t think the idea was that Vashta Narada were on every planet. They just were on many planets, and particularly common in a single forest, and that forest had been chopped up and made into books, so they came along for the ride. Being in the books in the largest library ever, they had enough space and materials to become a much larger swarm than ever before. The more there are, the more dangerous they are. And they got so large that they had to go after the people in the library to feed, when normally a whole person was too much for them.

Of course, if the Doctor did say they were on every planet, we could take that literally, but assume that, on most planets, there weren’t enough of them to cause any noticeable damage. But I honestly don’t remember him saying that.

Oh, and yes, this was an awesome episode, and it was fun reading through reactions at the time.

Yup, NuWho started the year before my daughter was born, been on the go for a while.
