Dodge Shadow

First off, I am not saying anything against Dodge. Has anyone noticed that the taillights on these vehicles seem to be very dim. Granted the cars are around ten years old doesn’t help, but it just seems to be an epidemic. Just a thought.

Well, I have noticed that the stock headlights and taillights on almost all older vehicles are very dim. A 1970’s headlight is very dim and casts a “yellower” light than modern “white” halogen bulbs. Xenon or whatever the newest technology is even brighter and has a blueish tint.

Perhaps when the Shadow was designed, (mid 80’s?) They were still using both types of lighting, and since it was on the low-end it stayed with the older technology.

Poor quality wiring or a corroding body ground could also be a culprit that would affect most vehicles of a certain model.

Hey yeah, now that you mention it, travelling behind my buddy’s shadow can be a bit dangerous expecially during the day. and one of the brake lights is brighter than the other. which isnt saying much.
