People who are known as “Biblical literalists” and who believe in the prophecies usually turn out to actually believe in some highly tenuous interpretation based on questionable guesses about supposed hidden meanings and implicit correlations between different books. (For example, the Antichrist.)
Is there any sect that believes the prophecies in a straightforward, plain-meaning way, without that extensive layer of inference and surmise?
