You’d be surprised how many Americans get CBC, and a lot get other cable and satellite feeds. I can’t begin to tell you how many of my American friends go straight to CBC for Olympic coverage every time the Olympics are on.

I am so very awed by the world’s reaction, and the outpouring of affection that I’ve seen from around the globe. I’ve got to share this story:
I was stationed in Germany from '95-'99, and I made a great many close friends with the Bavarians. In fact, they treated me like family. I got a tearful call last week from a couple that I had visited last year, on my way home from Saudi Arabia (thanks, Lucretia!). After I assured them that I was alright (physically, anyway), they told me that they had gone to my old station in Bad Aibling to lay a card and flowers at the gate. When they got there, it was covered by flowers, ribbons, cards, candles, and gifts to the Americans inside. (I just made myself cry all over again by writing this.)
I love them so much, and you, too, camanda. The only salve I can put on this wound is in the hand you’re holding out to us right now. It helps to heal us all.

I am not trying to be funny, but CBC has some good cartoons. I watch it alot in the mornings when I have to work early.
