Does anyone else hate Ira Glass's voice?

I have respect for this, too, but with Diane Rehm, my objection is not that she’s not “melodious”, it’s that her voice is actually getting in the way of the information she’s trying to get across. Not only does she speak too slowly to keep a conversation flowing, but she’s hard to understand on top of it. Her inflection is so erratic that often whole syllables drop out of words, and I frequently have to think back and reinterpret things that I heard wrong (for example, when an awkward pause made me think she was starting a new sentence, but she really wasn’t).

I just change the channel.
