“Hispanic” is not a “race.” And are you a mind reader? How do you know what motivates people to desire enforcement of immigration law?
Nope. I’m outraged by “Illegal Immigration”, and care about it regardless.
And unfortunately, it’s another example of racism, because on Bullshit Mountain, “Muslim,” “Arabic,” “Islamic,” and “terrorist” are all synonyms.
Well, that’s an interestingly specific claim; could anything, hypothetically, make you rethink it? Like, if a Republican voter cleared his throat and explained that he knows full well how folks decidedly paler than himself have converted to Islam; what then? And if two people, two people, do it in harmony…
Islamic and Muslim aren’t synonyms?

Lol. Obviously, yes. A cleaner form of that sentence would have been that Muslim, Arabic, and Islamic are all synonyms for “terrorist” for many people taking a hard stance against any immigration.
Not all Republicans live on Bullshit Mountain. Or all Democrats for that matter.
I am not aware that many people take a hard stance against any immigration. I know lots of people are against illegal immigration, and lots more who are against terrorism, but rather few who think that nobody should be allowed to immigrate to America.
IOW the confusion of terms seems mostly to be on your part.

But then they’ll just think “they’re both faggots” and won’t listen to them. But then if you get 50 people a day doing it they’ll think it’s a movement, but not the “Alice’s Restaurant Anti-Massacre Movement”, but a completely different movement.
I find your thoughts interesting, and would like to subscribe to your newsletter, which I assume includes 8x10 color glossy photographs with circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back of each one describing what each one was to be used as evidence against me. Including the approach, the getaway, the northwest corner, the southwest corner, and that’s not to mention the aerial photography.

Yes! And as I’ve been told by racists, Islam isn’t a race, so it isn’t racism to fear them!
So you’ve been told something accurate by racists?
Right, it’s a lifestyle choice.
I’ve been told a flimsy, technically accurate excuse. Racists generally do not consult dictionaries as a matter of self reflection. Generally they do so to provide wet tissue level flimsy cover.
(As in, that racist feared that brown guy before he ever knew his religion.)
Well, look, if I met someone who wanted to discriminate against women – or bar all atheists from serving on juries – or exterminate all homosexuals! – I’d of course find him to be monstrous and bigoted and evil and any one of a hundred other things; but if someone were to reply to any of those declarations with a quick “that’s racist,” I’d say, “hang on, that’s – wait, what? Why would you even say that?”
People who hate all Muslims aren’t racist. People who hate all Jewish people aren’t racist; but I think we can all agree that people who identify with those religions tend to be born into them and members of a specific racial group. But you’re right that racist isn’t 100% accurate; probably better to just call them bigots.
I suppose if it makes them feel better about themselves I’ll give it a try. I’ll do it for the racists.
(pats racist on the head: "There there, little bigot. I’m sorry I called you a racist.)
I generally assume that the type of bigots who believe that all members of X religion are terrorists or whatever also believe that all people of Y race are of X religion, and thus they’re probably racists too. Bigoted stupidity is as bigoted stupidity does, at least reliably enough for government work, hand grenades, and to justify me slinging slurs.
Booker is one of the weaker candidates to run in 2020.
But by 2020 people may have forgotten who Biden was. Who knows, also 2016 showed polling wasn’t uber reliable.
I do like the fact that even Frederica Wilson is ahead of Trump in a 2020 poll.
This Roy Moore thing, and continued GOP support for the pedophile, pretty much answers the OP’s question.
