I’ve got a fantasy draft this weekend, and was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of a decent free “cheat sheet” or two. My league uses 5x5 roto scoring, and is fairly deep (12 teams x 25 players). I’m hoping to find at least a top 200 list of players. I’m looking for this list as a tool to see where guys will fall and to adjust my own rankings, more than just a list I’m going to straight draft off of.
I’d also be interested if anyone has any sleeper picks that they’d like to share, especially guys that I can steal in the draft’s later rounds. Any closers in waiting? I’ll throw my big sleeper pick out there to get things started: I think Dave Bush is going to have a breakout season in 2007. I’m not saying elite status just yet, but a solid second tier starter in my opinion.
One of the SI guys did a ranking of the Top 450/350 hitters/pitchers, with the methodology used. However, he didn’t provide any actual numbers, or how the breakdown occurred. That said, I used it as a tool in my draft two days ago.
RotoWire has a 14-day free trial that’s really a free trial, not one of those “give-us-your-credit-card-and-if-you-don’t-like-us-we’ll-let-you-cancel . . . -if-you-can-manage-to-find-our-secret-Outer-Mongolian-customer-service-number-
because-we-won’t-let-you-cancel-online-even-though-that’s-how-you-
signed-up” deals. They have an option where you can plug in the scoring options for your league, plus number of teams, etc., and it’ll spit back dollar values for auction leagues or rankings for point-based leagues.
