Does anyone know any Starsky and Hutch type of music?

I heard some a while back. It wasn’t necessarily Starsky and Hutch, but it had the same 1970’s brassy sound to it, and maybe toss in a little slap bass and wa wa’s. Like Superfly but not as “pimped out”.

I like CHiPs music. That show is so fun to watch and laugh at the huge cars and the disco music during the chase scenes.

Just keep going to flea markets and check out the 8-tracks on sale.

Hmm…

The soundtrack to “The Last Run” (made in 1971) has that real Bad '70s sound to it. I’m not sure if it’s exactly the same thing, but it’s got a really fabulous, cheesy bad '70s flavor.

You might try Funkadelic and ** Parliament** or pretty much anything of George Clinton/Bootsy Collins for that kind of sound.

Well, there’s different types of 1970s-style background music. Porn groove, A Quinn Martin Production, fake AM radio hit, bad Vegas (a cross between crooning and brassy 1960s go-go), and bad disco (a cross between disco and 1960s go-go) are just a few that come to mind.
