I’ve read the official explanation on the website, but I’ve got a question.
My wife and three kids are planning on a trip to Six Flags this weekend. In general, I hate lines, and the Flash Pass seems like a good way to avoid them, at least on the big attractions. However my youngest is still relatively small and won’t be going on them anyway.
Three options – from most to least expensive.
Get the Flash Pass for all 5 of us. Not efficient, since my youngest won’t be able to take advantage of it.
Get the Flash Pass for the 4 of us (everyone except my youngest). The four of us will be able to ride the Flash Pass rides, but not all at the same time (since someone has to stay behind and watch my youngest).
Get the Flash Pass for 2 of us, and pass it off. So I’d use it with my oldest while the other three are off doing something else, and then when we were done, I’d hand it off to my wife, who’d use it with our middle kid.
I’m leaning towards Option 3, but obviously that’s not the option Six Flags wants us to take. I’m paranoid that if I sign up for 2 of us and I get there, I have to name the 2 of us who will be using it, and only the 2 of us can use it for the duration of the day. Is that possible?
Anyone have any experience with this? Other comments are welcome as well.
If I recall correctly, when you’re getting your FP, they make you put on a wrist band that goes along with the FP device. Those wrist bands are non removable. And you need those before they will let you ride.
That said though, when I went to the one here in Dallas, half the time they didn’t even check me to see if I had a FP period.
