Does anyone know the name of the song played at the Knick break?

When the game comes back from a commercial break, they play a fast horn, very staccato, hip-hop jazzy instrumental. There are shots of nice plays, Knick City Dancers and the band playing the song. Does anyone know what song this is?

I thought about putting this in The Game Room but it is about a song and not about The Knicks.

I know that they play “Super Bad” by James Brown under the halftime highlights/recap… the instrumental part in the middle with lots of horns.

Is it the song you hear 30 seconds into this clip…?

That’s odd - I can still see it.

Anyway, I listened to “Super Bad” all the way through and what’s played in the halftime recap is not the original version. James Brown’s version has some squealy saxophone in the instrumental breaks whereas the halftime version replaces that with some staccato trombone, it sounds like.

Ah, the problem was I was trying to watch the video on my Kindle Fire. For some reason, James Brown’s video is not released for mobile.

it’s not Super Bad. Which I shoulda known, since I know Super Bad. I thought there would be a break in the long version that I never heard, but no.

My youtube search is failing me. But it is reminding me of another question I always ask when whaching the Knicks on MSG. Why does a trout need a wig?
