Does anyone know what my SDMB user name is/means?

I recognised it immediately. It’s from Henry Frear’s comic sci-fi novel ‘The Predatory Nebula’. In it, the hero, Farnham, gives the co-ordinates of his home as WF Q1 513. The author never explains what this means (a bit like early Star Trek ‘star dates’).

Say what you will, this thread has 785 views.

I read it only because I knew it would be filled with sarcastic comments. I was not disappointed.

Homebew nailed it. I only opened this thread because of the high probability of delicious sarcasm.

wfq1513, listen to Bosda – if it’s 133t, you’re getting a wedgie.

This has got to be it. I hope.

Does that mean that this thread actually belongs in Cafe Society?

You’re not helping matters

Where is this guy to tell us if thats the right answer?

He has fled the country with Mexican bandits

You are a movie producer who made a science fiction movie with Robert Duvall in the distant past. It was called WFQ1513 Your movie was brilliant but received a lot of criticism at the time. And it was a box office failure.

You swore revenge and have thrown the title in the critics faces ever since with your box office smashes such as U.S. Scrawl on the Wall where “wfq1513” was a prominent license plate number. You also developed a theater sound system which you refer to as “wfq1513.”

You can’t fool me!

Maybe the CIA got him before he could spill the beans.

I’m on a Mexican radio!

More Banditos?
While the insects swarm in the lowlands and we will fan the flames from a higher ?

[sub]ha ha ha, bloody hah[/sub]

I know why he hasn’t been back, HE doesn’t know what the name means.

Either that or my idea:

He’s killed his wife and is on the run from the law. Mexican bandits inclusive.

So, you say you have been “previously deactivated”…huh?

cough

L33T-boy has left the building. :stuck_out_tongue:

And not a moment too soon!
