Does anyone remember this obscure teen movie?

Looks like the post was Hamster Kibbles [supTM[/sup] again

Ooh! I loved that movie!

The one where stuff kept disappearing?

That obscure, eh?

Okay here goes…

I believe the movie was called “Over the edge” It starred a very young Matt Dillon and Vincent Spano. It was about a bunch of rebellious, pot smoking upper middle class kids who terrorize their parents and lock them in the school.

It also had a pretty good soundtrack (Van Halen, Cheap Trick, The Cars, Boston, and of course KISS).

No one at my job seems to remember this movie but me.

Does anyone else remember this little gem?

You guys are a bunch of comedians HUH?

I don’t remember it, but here’s the IMDb entry.

Yup, thats it.

Coulda sworn KISS was in the soudtrack tho.

Actually, the post was funnier without the real question.
And drinking is mandatory while on the SDMB after 9:00 P.M.

roland would it make you feel marginally better if I tell ya that I’ve got the bugger on tape, and still dig it out and watch it every once in a blue moon?

Of course, I have every bad movie ever made on tape someplace, so that might not be all that significant.

Bad Manners anyone?

[sub]Tally-ho, tally-ho, motorcycle midget hit the road…[/sub]

And for you synchronicity fans, it’s on the Trio channel right now (Saturday morning).

i remember it…it was one of the first moobies ive seen on cable when it came to my area…one part they were on an over pass and shooting a bb gun…and shot at cop…another part they were hanging in a unfinished house partying or something

Holly crap, I saw that movie from the middle to the end one time on, oh, Showtime or Starz…I forget. Anyway, I always wanted to get the title of that movie so I could see it again. I thought about asking for the title here on the SDMB, but I thought that describing a bunch of punk kids, a hard rock soundtrack with songs that came from the late 70’s and something about the parents being locked in a school would be to vague. But your description sounds exactly like what I’m looking for. **Thank you !!! **

I love The Police!

(Sting is still cool, even if he is jazzy now)
