I turned your signature on. You have to click the “show your signature” box each time.
So what you’re saying is that after every signature change, “show your signature” needs to be checked anew? Gotcha, thanks. I feel grateful and violated

This is what usually get’s me too. Im a terrible speler so I usually need too preview many times before actually posting.
Yeah, they really don’t encourage sigs. Which is fine if occasionally annoying.
I find sigs much more annoying than avatars, so I never switch them on; I don’t see anybody’s signatures. So when people refer to them as though they contain pertinent information, I have to click on their profile to see it.
I dislike avatars and sigs equally. I find that both are capable of making me dislike a poster who I may think highly of otherwise. It is hard not to look at someone in light of the picture or quote that they think summarizes them.
I don’t view sigs as being a self-summary necessarily. They can be all sorts of things. Witty-or-not remarks, links to favored sites, ascii graphics, etc etc.
Post to test mine as well.
Oh, and Auto, mine’s waaaaaaaaay wittier than yours.
