I know, it makes stuff look wet and makes plactic surfaces shiny. But does it actually inhibit rot and deterioration? I’ve noticed that the stuff is very hard to get off glass-does this stuff really work?
My wife gave me a sample pack of that product for some reason, mebbe my birthday. I think she was hinting, so I started to use it on the car’s interior vinyl, dashboard et al.
Can’t be bothered to apply to my pickup.
The difference is pretty amazing after a few years, her dashboard hasn’t cracked despite getting more UV exposure, everything else still feels supple and is easy to clean.
I know, different makes of vehicle and all that, proves nothing.
Also heard from some woodworkers that it will prevent padauk and purpleheart from oxidising to brown, but I haven’t tried that yet.
