Heck, he probably represents it.
A Davis/Bush election would have been an amusing landslide for Davis, methinks.

I don’t know if it’s the case in California, but it’s quite clear that Bush’s “victory” in Florida in the 2000 election came about because, and only because his brother controlled the state’s election system. The state perpetrated systematic vote fraud on behalf of Bush, starting with illegally disenfranchising tens of thousands of voters via the ChoicePoint scam of dropping names from the roles because they were felons – or they resembled the names of felons – or they had the wrong address. (ChoicePoint recently pled on a civil suit arising from this case and is cooperating with the plaintiffs in helping nail the officials that employed them.) Florida election officials were also responsible for the infamous butterfly ballot, certifying mail-in ballots that were unsigned and/or undated and generally pulling every cheap scam they could to get Bush elected.
I’ll bet the national Pubbies have a list of guys who’ll be HAPPY to help Ahnuld run the elections. National and California Dems should keep a very, very close eye on whomever runs the elections office. The Repubs have clearly swung over to (IIRC) Joe Stalin’s dictum of “It doesn’t matter who votes, what matters is who counts the votes.”
