MSN.com is saying that Schwartzenegger has won the California recall election. Can any California Dopers confirm this?
Some people are acting like Arnie’s election would be a sign of the Apocalypse, but I find it kinda funny. Much like when Jessie Ventura got elected governor of Minnesota. I’d probably feel differently if it was my state, of course.
They’re still counting, of course, but he’s got a VERY commanding lead. With ~10% of the votes counted, he’s got just under a 20% lead on Busdementia.

Schwarzenegger: 52.2%
Bustamante: 29.4%
However, the recall part of the election is closer…
Yes: 56.7
No: 43.3
Assuming the recall goes through, then it’s Gov Arnold…
