In almost all cases no to both. If however, she has more hair on her legs than me she should at least trim. This is probably conditioning, women don’t normally look like gorillas.
I think leg stubble looks awful. To avoid leg stubble, I don’t shave my legs at all. It’s beautiful golden hair, and if you don’t like it, point your eyes somewhere else.
I’ve had several guys ask me out because they really liked the leg hair. So go figure.
yay, bluethree!
European girly checking in - North European at that. Generally if a woman wants to shave or not is a personal preference I have friends who do and friends who don’t and friends who tidy up occasionally. For me I feel better if I know everything is nicely smooth or trimmed.
Call me shallow, but I can’t stand body hair on a woman. The smoother, the better. I guess I’m traditional: I associate curves, a nice smell, and smooth skin with the female gender. If any of those are missing, I get real turned off.
Although my hair is fine and fair, it’s rather long, and I had a bit of trauma in junior high because my mother (from England) wouldn’t let me shave my legs. I was teased unmercifully until the next door neighbor lady convinced her to let me do it.
Funny, she let me shave under my arms as soon as it started growing.
It makes me feel cleaner. I may shave my legs once a week, but under the arms more often.
It’s not a big deal.
Yeah, shaved pits might be somewhat more attractive. But not necessarily worth to the amount of work required to keep them so, IMHO. Same goes for leg hair.
This from a man who trims his own pit hair about every other week…
I am not a fan of anybody’s body hair, except in the pubic region. (Not that I am a fan of pubic hair, but I share Squish’s oogie feeling about men who like completely hairless ladies.) And like LaurAnge, I think men oughta shave their pits, too. I had a lover who picked up on this and surprised me by shaving his, and I gotta tell you, it was erotic city for me.

If you’re saying that Mediterranean women shave less, you’re wrong, IMO. I used to live in Greece, and I don’t recall ever seeing a Greek woman with unshaved legs or pits. I have seen unshaven northern European women (though Euro women don’t fit American’s stereotype). Mediterraneans might seem hairier because their hair’s dark and visible, but they shave. Or wax - waxing seems to be more popular in Europe than in the U.S.

Can’t really speak for Greece, but it seems to apply to France and Spain, to an extent.
I’m a woman. I don’t like substantial hair anywhere but on my head. Pits, legs and pubic area get shaved and / or waxed regularly. It therefore follows that I am grossed out personally by gals who don’t shave, but as others have said, it’s certainly their business alone and none of mine.
not really bothered either way. sure running your hands over freshy shaved legs is nice, but so is running your hands over soft fluffy hairs. both great but different.
as a female is shave eratically. i figure its a hassle, and no one important really cares anyway. my partner is of the ‘both are nice’ frame of mind and what do i really care about the opinion of the average person on the street?
My limited experience says that this applies to Germans, too. In Finland most women shave their armpits and legs, probably same in Sweden. Norway and Iceland could be different.
I don’t like body hair very much and a hairy armpit would be a very unpleasant surprise, when getting intimate.
I positively love hairy women, especially their hairy legs.
AHunter3** said it best.
I don’t like stubble legs, so the answer to that, of course, is DON’T SHAVE!
Women, be free, be natural, be yourselves, and there are many men like me who love you for it. Don’t let narrowminded social attitudes intimidate you. A hairy woman is a real woman. mmmmMMMMMAMA!
I’ve seen women with really unshaven legs before, and it’s enough to turn my stomach.
No problems though if a girl has stubble. Hey, it happens. Shaving’s a pain, we all know that.
Armpit hair… ick. I’ve come close to shaving my own off many times, but I fear that I would just have sweat trickling down my torso all day — deodorant can only work so well on a humid August day in Washington.
I was suprised by how much ti turned me on to be with an unshaven girl.
There is something that is so “Caveman” about holding a girl by her furry ankles while you…well, you know.
To be honest, i didn’t think I’d like it. But this was an ex girlfriend, and I really wanted to be with her again, and she had quit shaving over the past year or so since we broke up.
It has been my experience that hairy feels a lot better than stubble. There is nothing worse than a prickly puss IMO.
Of course, a PP is kinda like a cold pizza…still pretty good.
The only thing that bothers me aesthetically is a woman with a pronounced and dark mustache. Otherwise, I don’t mind body hair at all, and rather like a woman with unshorn armpits.
