Does my computer communicate with the ATT router box in my garage?

Does my computer communicate with the ATT router box in my garage? We had an Intel Stick an old Gateway and an old HP. The ATT download tests were terrible. We removed the Intel Stick and the dwnload tests are coincidentally good to excellent. Any thoughts, explanations?

Yes indeed the way you speak of your internet, the ATT router must be a wireless router, which means it has a “Wifi acess point” and routes the devices that use it through to the internet…

Perhaps the Intel Compute Stick was busy downloading, and that congested your ATT link… or your household wireless … (If the stick used a repeater, it can greatly reduce wireless bandwidth available to you.)
