Does San Francisco really have a “poop” problem or is it Conservative propaganda?

Well San Francisco is fixing its “poop” problem:

I’ve expected a break out of typhus in San Francisco for awhile. It’s only a matter of time. Runoff from contaminated water gets into home gardens and the drinking supply. Fleas and lice get carried by hosts.

How do they do that on an escalator? Do they stand up and let go while riding up and down? Is the esclator not working at times?

San Francisco’s drinking water supply doesn’t come from nor is stored near the city.

I didn’t re-read the whole thread… Did anyone ever, at any point, provide a cite that San Francisco was actually any worse in this regard than any other city?

I don’t think so. Fwiw, I walked into the main public library washroom in Vancouver once and someone had crapped in one of the sinks. It happens, no need to lose your shit, there are 8 million stories in the naked city, and a lot of them involve poop.

For some municipalities in the Bay Area, it comes from the Mokelumne Aqueduct, which is 95 miles long.

I encountered this once in a deli where Mrs. J. and I often got Sunday breakfast/brunch. We were previously aware of tensions between staff and the manager/owner, and after the sink-pooping incident decided that some forms of protest weren’t worth risking our G.I tracts.

Fair!
