Does the concept of "No Child Left Behind" really make sense?

Nothing personal, my entire nuclear family other than my youngest brother are all lawyers.

You’re right, I shouldn’t have over generalized, but in my defense I was under the mistaken impression that Congress was upwards of 90% lawyers when it is, in fact, only upwards of 50% lawyers.

And, to be honest, the problem isn’t so much lawyers or politicians making educational policy (although that’s not a recipe for guaranteed success…), it’s that they enacted Feelgoodism and DoSomethingism to look busy instead of figuring out what the educational system actually needs.
