On a recent business trip to Boston, I was working just a block from Faneuil Hall. This afforded me many glimpses of the weathervane, but I swear, every time I looked, the cricket was pointing in the same direction. Does it really rotate with the wind? If not, did it ever?
It’s a grasshopper.
It may just be the prevailing wind this time of year is consistent.
I live in Ca’s Central Valley and the wind here is more or less out of the NW probably(WAG) 80% of the time, sometimes from other directions. The only time it really varies is when rain is in the area the wind comes from the SE.
