Does the economy really do better under 'pro-life and pro-family" candidates?

Have there been many anti-life anti-family candidates?

The best economy we’ve had in living memory was under Clinton. We had a near depression under GWB.

“Pro-family” doesn’t mean anything other than perhaps as code for “anti-gay.”

As I understand it, the right isn’t big on government intervention, preferring the economy to fix itself. I think they are more inclined to take credit for tax cuts and cuts in spending during expansion/recovery periods but aren’t willing to let government transfers or deficit spending shift aggregate demand so that the economy can get out of recessions faster.
