Does The German Military Still Award The "Blue Max"?

The Blue Max was Imperial Germanie’s highest military decoration. I remember the old 1960’s movie (bad) with George Peppard and James Mason-Peppard was mad to get one.
Anyway, is this medal still awarded in Germany?
