Does this sound like "biliary colic"?

I ate a warm brownie with ice cream. Less than an hour later I’m having sharp, cramplike pain just below my ribcage that radiates into my right shoulder. No other indigestion, just pain, which makes my abdomen bloat out because I can’t bear to suck in my stomach muscles.

Doing something between the Child’s Pose and the Downward Dog helps temporarily.

Female. Barely obese. Insulin resistant. On oral contraceptives. I began having these attacks in my mid-twenties. They went away during the few years I was focused on reproduction and went off the pill. Now I’m on it again and they’re back.

So, do you agree with my self-diagnosis?

Certainly a possibility.

gall bladder? I am not in any way shape or form a medical professional. But it might be worth looking that up and see if it matches what you’re feeling. Sounds similar.

Dang, missed the edit window.

Yep, looked up biliary colic AFTER responding and see it’s gall bladder-related. Had not that term before, so my apologies!

But it does PROVE, I’m not in “any way shape or form a medical professional”
