Does Tonya Harding Have a JOB?

First it’s Al Sharpton, and now it’s Tonya Harding.

According to her website, Ms. Harding has done this-n-that over the last few years, including charity events, autograph signings, motivational speakings, yada yada yada. She’s currently working on a book, and she has an agent. Interestingly, her site doesn’t mention the whole Nancy Kerrigan/Knee-Whacking incident OR the Celebrity Boxing thing. C’est la vie.

But her website doesn’t address the meat of the issue, which is what she does for money day-to-day. Anyone have any idea? Has she made millions skating and now she’s living off of her investments? Is she panhandling outside the public library? Is she a greeter at Wal*Mart ?

Anyone from the Portland area seen her around? What’s she up to these days?

Tonya Harding to Box Before Tyson Bout

PORTLAND, Ore. –– “Celebrity Boxing” wasn’t a one-time thing for Tonya Harding.

The former Olympic figure skater will make her debut as a professional fighter before the Mike Tyson-Clifford Etienne bout on Feb. 22.

After pummeling Paula Jones on the Fox show “Celebrity Boxing” in March, Harding said she’s ready to get into the ring for real.

“It is my goal to be a future, undisputed bantamweight champion. My proven athletic ability and competitive nature will help this dream become a reality,” the 31-year-old said Tuesday at a news conference with Tyson in Tunica, Miss.

Organizers said an opponent for Harding hasn’t yet been lined up.

So, there ya go. She probably gets royalties from Celebrity Boxing, and there’s more to come in February.

However, not if she manages to screw it up. Do some people just have a death wish or what?

Harding Investigated For Possible Parole Violation

VANCOUVER, Wash. – Tonya Harding’s professional boxing career may be in jeopardy before it gets off the ground.

The Portland Tribune reports that Harding was spotted drinking vodka on a flight to Portland, a possible violation of her parole.

Back in August, a judge made her a deal to avoid a drunken-driving conviction. She must avoid drinking, get alcohol treatment for two years and stay out of trouble for five years.

Clark County corrections officers say they will launch an investigation into whether Harding violated her parole.

Well, the good news is that Tanya Harding is beating the crap out of other women legally and getting paid to do it. Such a deal! I would love to see her in the ring with Muhammad Ali’s daughter… the butt-whupping Tanya would receive would make Harding’s knee-whacking look tame by comparison.

Can anyone tell I don’t like the girl?
