I think he sees it as another money making scheme and then stiff the contractors.

Yes, he’d add massively to his current wealth (whatever it might be).

Also, he’d put in a lot of time plotting and carrying out revenge on everyone who has dissed him. That list is very long, so this will take a lot of his attention.

Trump has very much planned for his post-loss career. He successfully conned the Republican Party into thinking that he would self-fund his campaign: he has not. Monies directed to his campaign have been loans. Expenses have been restrained, except to the extent that they have been directed at Trump owned organizations. He is planning a conservative media company to compete with Fox News.

Not sure of that. He may be seen as the baffoon that he is.

A Trump Presidency would be very lucrative however. Sending governmental contracts to Trump organizations could make him the 10-billionaire that he dreams of becoming. Presidents have a great deal of discretionary power. He can order underlings to conduct illegal acts, then pardon them if they get into trouble with the law. He can expand the power of domestic intelligence services in the name of terrorism and hand the keys over to his close advisor Roger Ailes. He can alienate our allies and empower his foreign endorsers Vladimir Putin of Russia and Kim Jong Un of North Korea.

He would enjoy that sort of thing. This is a guy who likes rallying the crowd to beat up protestors after all.

But what Trump holdings would the government use? R&R at a Trump casino?

Trump town? Oh…

I’m really not afraid of that buffoon, as I am that someone like him could be elected to ANY office. I am now afraid of half of the US.

When he asked Kasich to be his Veep, he told Kasich that he would be allowed to run everything, so no Trump doesn’t want to actually do the job.

What was communicated to Kasich was that Kasich would be in charge of foreign and domestic policy. When asked what Trump would be handling the response was “Making America great”.

Months ago - maybe last year - I posted that I thought Trump wanted to be VP. I think I was right then, but now I think he really does want to be President.

I also think that Trump is the candidate of protest. The System has failed many Americans; the American Dream no longer holds true. Clinton is the exemplar of The System and Trump is just the person riding the wave right now. He could say pretty much anything and still get their vote.

Oh, he will be. But capitalists don’t need the entire market. They only need a segment of it. And those running investment scams can earn fortunes off of even narrower segments.

Even as it is, Fox News has only a tiny rating share. A good rating might be 2.2%, relative to routine double digits on network TV. Yet it pumps a billion dollars into 20th Century Fox per year.

Trump likes to talk about how great his wall would be if HE built it. So yeah. The wall is potentially the greatest white elephant of all time. There’s a ton of money to be made in government procurement if you can get around longstanding rules. Which Trump conceivably could.
