old enough not to known better, but to enjoy life to its fullest. Good for you.
that would be your chronological age, lol.
Would you care to define you idea of biological age?
That would be his chronobiological age, as biological processes are linked with time.
Perhaps you’re talking about apoptotic age?
well it’s the concept of aging by comparing, you with peers or age group, this would be to understand, how you are aging. Early stage in developing you world of longevity.
no, I am not talking about apoptptic, that would be to complicated, I’m talking about simple thinking, I’m no doctor:cool:
What if I’m also genetically predisposed to heart disease and drop dead tomorrow?
Still a winner?
May I introduce you to, Dr. Qadgop the Mercotan, MD.
But not too old to remember how. ![]()
yes, because tomorrow you may be still be alive, you ever hear the story about the two boys doing a study at the university. They were both placed in a room for an hour. The room was filled with one foot of horse manure. One boy stood by the door and whined for the hour, while the other boy was flying around like the transmani devil. They ask the boys how they felt, one saying it was awful, the other one, saying with that much shit in there, he thought for sure he would find a pony. Optimism there is nothing wrong with it. No matter what you predisposed pessimism. One more day, please!![]()
nice to meet you, doctor.![]()
Wouldn’t the second boy bore a hole through the wall of the room, then go on to destroy trees and various items of the landscape before asking a rabbit why he buried him in the cold, cold ground?
Interesting. Do you have a link to this study? Which university?
I don’t think my longevity has its own world. But then, I’m on *this *world, so I guess I wouldn’t know.
OK, so what exactly measurements are you comparing? Is this an objective measure or a subjective measure?
My secret to long life: Don’t try to parse weird crap that people post.
But what if that’s your hobby? Hobbies is one of the 23 writings to enhance your world of longevity, after all.
(ETA I’m wondering if Lifeag Ing is any relation to SF writer Dean Ing?)
Until May 16, 2015, I looked and felt 10 years younger than my chronological age. Then I had a spinal “event”, leaving me in chronic pain and disability and depression. It’s incurable, and will continue to get worse until the day I die. And painkillers have no effect. Now I look 10 years older than my chronological age. And I feel even older. 70 is the new 90.
Somewhere between getting out of diapers and going back into them.
I want to live long enough to be a burden to my children.
Regards,
Shodan
PS - in a couple of days, I will be 427. I count in dog years just to be safe.
