Charlie’s such a cutie-pie!
But you knew that, so here’s what I really came here to say. Get her used to having her teeth cleaned. Just got Boomer back from the vet and a teeth cleaning. One of his teeth was badly decayed and had to be pulled.
If we had started brushing when he was young, we could have done this ourselves and avoided this. Same with clipping nails. The older they get, the more crotchety they are when you mess with their body parts.
What an adorable little snausage! I bet she’s going to be the star of the neighborhood! I love the picture with her and her bear.
You say she’s ten weeks? Have you had her vet check up and her shots yet? Ten weeks is a little early for her to have her potty training perfect so a few mistakes are normal. But your vet would know for sure, and might know more about ‘olde englisshe’ bulldogs.
Her master (my GF, maybe my master too) is taking her to the vet tomorrow to meet her new vet, and see what shots she has left.
Ill have to mention the brushing the teeth to my GF. She is trying to do everything right with this puppy(and doing a good job too). She wants her to be a very well trained dog.
I will pass on all the oohs and ahhs to her.

Nicholas Dodman was on NPR’s Fresh Air a month or so back. He’s written a book called: Puppy’s First Steps: The Whole-Dog Approach to Raising a Happy Healthy, Well-Behaved Puppy.
Lots of practical, no nonsense but kind advice for everything from potty-training to getting a dog to be calm while riding in a car.
OMG, that is the -cutest- puppy evah! She looks so sad, though, but it only contributes more to her cuteness. LOL
Best of luck with the puppy training. She is soooo cute!!!
the “cuteness” decided to pee at 4am, and then she wanted to play, yipping, barking, making her monkey noises, for a good 10 minutes. Then she thankfully lay down to chew on the dresser, and then her crate, which finally led to sleep for all of us.
