I’d love to teach my Boston Terrier to do a handstand. She does it naturally about once a week or so, (usually to pee on a tree), but not really often enough to reinforce the behaivor with treats. Also, I wouldn’t want to reinforce the peeing part.
Any ideas how to get her to do it on command?
I’ve tried lifting her hindquarters up and saying ‘bow’ at the same time. After days of this she still doesn’t get the idea at all.
If I put the treat down at ground level, she thinks I want her to do her roll-over trick.
