Dogtooth

Sorry to bump this but I didn’t think it was old enough to warrant a new thread. I was expecting a bit more, to be honest. It was an interesting idea but so little happened that it felt like it could have been done just as easily in a 30 to 40 minute film.

Also I felt like there were too many unanswered questions. What was up with the unseen brother? If they were trying to to shelter their kids from the world, why were they so cool with all the sex? What was with the dog being trained? And what was with Christina–like, why was she so messed up?

The brother was made up. He was a prime example of a lie getting out of hand. The kids weren’t supposed to keep talking to their brother and throwing him food to keep him alive when they sent him off beyond the fence to fight the cats, but they did, so the parents had to kill him off.

They sent him off to fight the cats? But I thought they didn’t establish that the cats were bad until after the real brother had already killed one? Or were those scenes shown out of order?
