Great ball player. His fame didn’t quite reach the heights of his brother, but from all I’ve read, he was very well-respected in his time. He was a 7-time All Star and still holds the Red Sox record for hitting streak with an impressive 34 games. (In another in a seemingly unending string of cool baseball oddities, his streak was ended by a catch by… Joe DiMaggio.)

Oh yeah, there’s almost a 100% chance he never did PEDs.

A great player. A lot of people consider him a better center fielder than both Joe and Vince. He also led the league in stolen bases, triples, and runs, among others, at least once. He was overshadowed by Joe, but a great player in his own right.
