Looks like I was right. 
I get Fagen… i wanted to see the Dukes tour but I think I couldn’t get off or something went down… Their’s a clip of Neil Diamond doin a medley of his hits and then turning to the band and saying “Okay now we got that shit out of the way”… I get it… If I see say Neil Young… and he doesn’t do “Cinnamon Girl” should I really be pissed? I can see Neil might be tired of dragging out Cinnamon Girl… or Down By the River… Im siding with the right of the artist to do the material they choose to do. Calling out tunes is an asshat thing to do imo.
All the major artist have dvd’s of performances where you can go home and watch them do “Your Song”… Miles Davis just flat out told you to kiss his ass… he did whatever he wanted to do… Maybe if Mick Jagger and Keith Richards would take that tact they might seem like they arent phoning in the same shit since the Hal David movie…
