Even back in 2016, I know there were some discussions about the resentment many whites at the lower end of the economic spectrum felt. During Trump’s run back then, I remember seeing a sheriff from a northern state talking about the free laptops every undocumented alien gets when they enter the United States. Going further back there’s Reagan’s “welfare queens” of course.
I believe this is literally true. See the article I cited just four posts before yours. They’re psychopaths who feel they’ve been mistreated and never given a fair shake by society and by social and governmental institutions, and want to compensate for their perceived helplessness by electing a strongman who in effect promises to create institutional chaos and burn it all to the ground.
In that respect many Trump supporters – certainly not all, but the devoted hardcore followers – have the social pathology of violent criminals who feel they’ve been marginalized and mistreated their whole lives and are motivated by revenge and destruction. It’s no wonder that Trumpists rally around guns, racism, and Confederate and Nazi symbols.

Another trailer to the movie The Apprentice, about Trump’s tutelage under cutthroat lawyer Roy Cohn, just dropped. The movie hits theaters October 11th.
The allusions to Trump’s current persona are ridiculously obvious; it’s a villain’s origin story. But it’s apparently getting good reviews. It has a 77% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
I think of it this way… Have you ever been so enraged that it was hard to think straight, and you end up doing something you later regret?
Imagine you live your life like that all the time, and never calm down enough to realize that you’ve made a mistake. That is what a large part of MAGA is like. It’s misery feeding upon misery and wanting to spread misery as a result.
That’s funny because one of MAGA James Woods best performances was playing Roy Cohn in a HBO movie.
Trump just found out that people can use Google to look up bad things about him and says that it’s UNFAIR and ELECTION INTERFERENCE.
Maybe he can figure out a way to sue Reality for being…um…Real.

What’s with trump’s obsession with sex change operations? Little Jimmy goes to school, gets a sex change, and thanks to modern medicine, is able to come home the same day. He’s got another one about Kamala giving immigrants sex changes. Did even one reporter ask for a follow-up on that, or maybe a cite? Or even, “where did you hear that?” Of course it’s bullshit, but he’s never asked for cites for anything he says.
Probably his advisers and toadies whispering in his ear, since transgender people are the latest favored target for persecution by the Republicans. He’s known to be easily influenced, especially in hateful directions.
