Is there a witty play on words in there somewhere that I’m not seeing?
I’ve heard maybe he wants us to sing Kumbaya and sub in Kamabla. (kum-ba-ya vs kam-ba-la)
Pretty sure that wouldn’t be what DJT is trying to convey but it’s the best I got.
I thought maybe he was thinking of the Kabbalah, but 1) why and 2) that’s not something he’s ever heard of in his life.
My best guess is his thinking is like this, but fuzzier:
- Her name has the same vowels and syllables as “bla bla bla”
- If I mispronounce her name to sound more like that, it’ll sound stupid.
- When you mispronounce someone’s name and it sounds stupid, people think the misnamed person is stupid.
I disagree on who sounds stupid when you deliberately mispronounce a name, but I’ve never been president.
Doesn’t he rail against O-BA-MA? So maybe he starts to say KA-MA-LA, but adds a B?

I believe the reason he held a press conference is because FOX is putting up daily alerts about how many days it’s been since Harris has became the nominee and she hasn’t given a press conference. 20 days apparently. Trump didn’t want anyone running the numbers on him. I didn’t know candidates were supposed to do frequent press conferences until Fox told me. Thanks Fox.
According to MSNBC: the only reason Trump put on his pants, gassed up the jet, and flew to Montana (of all places)…was spite and revenge.
As you may recall, Trump’s personal physician and enabler Ronny Jackson was nominated to be Secretary of Veteran Affairs. But had to withdraw after allegations were raised that he was drunk at work and handing out prescription drugs like candy. Those allegations were raised by Sen. John Tester (D - MT).
So Trump flew to Montana just to work against Tester’s re-election and thereby avenge the “honor” of his buddy Ronny.
Does it feel like Trump is quiet quitting this election?
Harris and Walz are packing in 12000+ every day in arenas and airplane hangars across swing states, while Trump’s doing a short event in Montana, blathers from his front porch, and his running mate does events in parking lots for local media.
The Trump campaign has been hacked, allegedly by someone connected with Iran. In theory that would make sense. Be interesting to see if more stuff leaks out. Nothing explosive was sent out by the source, it seems.

He’s running ads, here in Nevada (shows Kamala dancing, says “here’s your border czar”. Hordes of murdering illegals are swarming over the borders. Then cuts to her interview response where she says she hasn’t been to the border and hasn’t been to Europe, either, “what’s your point”? Which was a pretty cringe thing to say.
But he does seem to have forgotten that it’s either win, or go to jail. Fine with me.
Unfortunately, he feels he doesn’t need to campaign because the votes won’t count. He’s put enough people into place that will refuse to certify the results that it will be thrown to the House where he is guaranteed to win. All he has to do is keep enough red states from certifying to keep Harris from hitting the target . That’s why he is telling his supporters that they don’t even need to vote.

I don’t know if Republicans can pull it off. But they absolutely intend to attempt this.
I have seen speculation online that Trump’s holing up in Mar-a-Lago may be a symptom of PTSD, as a result of the assassination attempt.
An emergency landing in his plane won’t help that.
He may actually be afraid that Iran’s plan to kill him will succeed now that he’s seen that his security is somewhat lacking. The assassination attempt was the first time he’s really suffered some consequences for his narcissistic cheap-ass behavior. I’m sure there are people around him trying to get him to shell out the big bucks for security but even at risk of his life, I can’t see him doing that. So lying low it is.
So you’re saying he’s already gotten the presidency, then.
Remind me again why they’d want him dead? Because he’s reflexively pro-Israel? I’m assuming it’s not because he’s a fearsome beacon of democracy and freedom.
