Donate old cell phones to stop family violence!

Donate a phone, save a life.

Make a difference in the lives of those affected by family violence by donating your used wireless phones at any of the over 300 The Body Shop locations across the U.S. Donated phones are sold, refurbished, or recycled, with net proceeds benefiting the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV) and the Wireless Foundation.

Wireless phones with battery and charger can be dropped off at any The Body Shop stores.

Additionally, nearly 3,000 wireless phones and airtime will be donated to The Body Shop family violence shelter partners. These wireless phones will be distributed to victims of family violence within our communities.

Together, we can stop family violence.

I dont know if there’s already been a thread about this (I’m too lazy to search on my 28.8 connection…), but it seems like a pretty cool cause. Definitely something to consider.

Our local shelter gladly took our two old analog phones when we upgraded to digital. Make sure you delete any personal info when the phone is deactivated. We took our back to the phone place to make sure the phones were cleared out.
