Donna Brazile supplied debate questions to Hillary?

@Xema:
It was probably presented to Hillary as “here are some likely questions”, which is actually probably the case. I doubt Brazile was sitting on the questions committee at CNN. Eta: and for all we know they passed the questions on to Bernie too.

You’re assuming a lot here. Do we even know if the questions were given to Clinton, much less that her staff arranged this?

You don’t need a tip-off from Donna Brazile to know that they’re going to ask you about lead in Flint, MI. So I’d be a little surprised if they saw this as a boon rather than as something between mildly interesting and annoying.

You do realize that “Hillary’s allowed to scupper Bernie’s campaign because Trump is a sleazeball!” makes a rather weak argument - yes?

Even if she did nothing more than send that e-mail, I can see why CNN would want to disengage. When are these guys going to learn not to write anything in an email that you don’t want the whole world to see???

That’s why I said it was only half in jest.

We don’t know at this point. Hillary and John Podesta (Hillary’s campaign chairman, who received the Brazile email) are the ones who do - but they aren’t talking.

Given her previous experiences I imagine that all whitehouse business under the Clinton administration is going to be conducted via Snap Chat.

Correct. They haven’t talked about any of the stolen emails, which is probably the most responsible thing they could do.

I think CNN was right to fire Brazile, of course. And if the Clinton campaign used her tip-offs, then that was sleazy.

But I also think you’re crazy if you think this mattered one bit. Indeed, I would think the Bernie folks would be relieved that the level of media/DNC support for Clinton was at this extremely lame level, given their allegations about everything being rigged.

Plenty of us are swallowing hard and holding our noses wile we vote for Hillary but the Republicans didn’t really give us a viable alternative, did they?

I don’t blame you one bit for that. I’m voting for Clinton too, much as I hate to have to do it, made that decision just today.

We all know the DNC was in the tank for Hillary from day one. But that train has left the station and it no longer matters. What counts is next Tuesday.

Let’s look back at the Republican congress working to frustrate President Obama at every turn, letting empty judge-ships languish & trying again & again to repeal Obamacare. (We *could *go back to the way the “election” was settled in 2000.) Next, medidate upon the monstrosity that your party chose to represent themselves this time.

Then, lecture us on “politics as usual.”

ETA: I already voted for Hillary. And was glad to do it. She may not have been the candidate of my dreams, but I would have chosen her over of the other Republican, umm, “hopefuls.”

In the absence of seeing anyone else’s emails, you have no idea what advantages were given to other candidates.

That’s the biggest problem here- we see things in HRC’s email and assume they are unique to her. As Sanders himself said, if you look in my email, you’ll find mean things said about HRC.

Same idea applies.

Loved Brazile’s answer to Megan Kelly when asked if she leaked debate questions to Hillary’s camp:

“I WILL NOT SIT HERE AND BE PERSECUTED!”

Then she tried dancing on the head of a pin by stating that she didn’t receive any questions ‘from CNN’, when the allegation was that she got it from Roland Martin, who then gave it to CNN the next day. Brazile also lied by claiming the emails showing her as having said this were stolen and ‘altered’.

And she did all this while trying to portray herself as a good ‘Christian woman’.

Yeah, you keep arguing that, buddy. I guess the true issue is one was open about their double-dealing and the other one thought calmer rules applied. I guess Brazile forgot that in Trumpworld, thefts are best done in the open, in broad daylight. It literally is no longer the crime… period.

Couldn’t you at least include a “Glen Beck cooties” warning? For those of us who value our mental health?

Everything they did to frustrate Obama was above board. I don’t agree with all of it, but it’s not corruption like this.

Conceding that point, who can blame them. Someone who is not a member of your party tries to get your nomination? Of course you want to stop it. I bet the RNC is wishing they had found a way to stop Trump.

Well, they had Jeb(!). Remember when he was the “presumptive nominee”? Sucking up all the major contributors, game over, man, game over!

That’s all above board though. You gotta be dirty. The Democrats were willing to play dirty against Sanders.
