While it’s no excuse to act like an asshole, I’ve had my dog in the vet when she was very very sick once and in my emotional state I was panicky and no doubt rude when I thought nobody at all cared if my dog lived or died and just wanted to go home. I know that I was crying and flying off the handle, so let’s just say I understand when people are hyper emotional about their pets.
I’ve been accused of that before.
