BTW looks like someone cracked the secret code of the symbols before the commercial breaks. I had fun decoding this episode - got as far as “WALTE” before tivo crapped out, I assume the last letter was “R”.
Olivia went to the doctor that was taking care of the kid at the hospital and enlisted her help in getting the kid out before the CIA agent came for him. She was going to take him to a foster home. Broyles (who’s in on it) tells the CIA agent that the kid just disappeared. As the kid is being driven to his new home, we see the Observer on the street looking at the kid, and the kid looking out at the observer. The end.
Some very interesting casting news. Spoilage, I guess, so…
They have cast someone to play William Bell… Leonard Nimoy!
Funny thing is, the first time Observer Jr. wrote something on the notepad, I couldn’t figure out what he was writing. I didn’t even recognize a character. I thought to myself “ooh alien language.” Turns out he was just writing in English, except upside down.:smack:
In addition, it seemed they “sensed” each other. The Observer turned to look at the kid, and the kid leaned up in his seat and turned to look out a the Observer.
Very cool moment.
I can’t tell if everyone here is thinking the same thing I am:
The kid and the Observer are the same person.
I considered it, but then I figured that if there were more than one creepy kid (according to the CIA guy), then there’s no reason to think the kid and the Observer are the same guy.
They could be part of a collective mind though.
Ahhh, right you are.
Still… I have this nagging suspicion he’s a time traveler. And Olivia bonding with the Observer at such a young age might make for some interesting developments.
Or maybe the kid is the Observer’s son. Or father. Or 2nd cousin’s roommate’s nephew.
I assumed the Observer and Kid Observer are agents from another dimension, just like Walter wrote about in that manifesto.
BTW
I love Walter, I’ve long been a psychiatric patient. What’s his names performance as Walter is spot on.
