don't like the Constitution?

Who said I was willing to dismiss it in favor of contemporary standards of attitude? I still think the attitudes of people are more important then the writings on a 200 year old document. Why? Well I’m glad you asked.

If a majority of the population decides to ignore the constitution then it will be ignored. The Constitution is a piece of paper that isn’t big enough to protect me from rain let alone tyranny. In fact I can think of several examples where attitudes have changed and made safety a higher importance then our so called Constitutional rights. Where’s the Constitutional protection from unreasonable search and seizure when it comes to the war on drugs? Perhaps you can see why I believe the attitudes and beliefs of those around me make a bigger impact then a 200 year old document. No matter how good that document is.
