Well, I, again have had a ton of fun, and you made my weekend fly. I thank everyone who participated, and all that had to bite their lip as they watched me make a damn fool of myself.

Damn. I must’ve missed your score! Still, I felt OtakuLoki deserved it because of the raw tenacity he showed during the game. But this is perfect, perhaps you can start a thread called DON’T STUMP the GIRL with average knowledge… although I have the feeling you’re of above-average knowledge. But hey, I’m still the judge of these here contestants, and it’d be fun to get two going.

I could be above average in some subjects but I am below average in many others and I have a very bad memory so may even forget stuff I do know … did know. I had to work today so I couldn’t check in and post my score earlier. I have to work early tomorrow, too, so I won’t be on much longer. If people want another thread and the moderators don’t mind I could start one tomorrow.

Sorry I didn’t get back to this thread until today. I see you’ve declared a close to the current round of attempting to NOT stump you, but I’ll tie up some loose ends by giving the answers.

2. Ugh. I seem to remember him picking on GM, but I cannot, for the life of me, remember the model if that’s right. As for make, I’ll go with Chevy.

Ooof, prognosis looks bad on this one.

1. The “Tin Lizzie” was the Ford Model T. I lose one point.

2. Chevrolet is correct – the model Nader castigated was the Corvair. I’ll call this a wash.

3. The Holden is a GM car manufactured for the Australian market. Obviously this would have been a zero-pointer for someone who comes from a land “Down Under”, but it costs me three points here.

So I end up 4 points in the hole. Now I’m off to check out the thread OtakuLoki has started…
