Saw a guy wearing one of these the other day. Didn’t realize it was a political t-shirt until I was told to look carefully. Wonder how many poll officials would notice?
I certainly would not (poll official here)…which means, I suspect, few other voters would notice, and therefore it’s fine to just let them vote and leave.
Would wearing black to mourn the death of democracy be allowed?
My wife wore her “Voting Prevents Unwanted Presidencies” t-shirt when she voted, and had no trouble. I don’t know if the election judges didn’t notice it, didn’t consider it partisan, or realized it’s anti-Trump but didn’t care.
You don’t even need to go away. You can just turn it inside out at the polling place and get back into line. The rule isn’t supposed to make it hard to vote.
I wore a t-shirt that says “Cat lady” with a picture of a bunch of Siamese kittens.
I was surprised I saw no MAGA hats or T-shirts.
There was a truck in the parking lot with Trump flags.
That isn’t overtly partisan; it doesn’t mention any candidate name. So it should be allowed.
It’d be nice if you explained what’s on the shirt. The thumbnail is so low-res it remains mysterious when zoomed in.
I see the blue monster wave. And get the idea. But what is the vaguely orange circle it’s overwhelming? Enquiring minds are baffled by lack of evidence.
The orange blob is the top of Trump like head.
The blue wave spells Kamala. I could see it on my phone.
Didn’t even see that.
I understood the symbolism but didn’t notice the clever way the wave was comprised of letters!
I see it now that you pointed it out; I’m using a desktop.
I totally missed that “Kamala” hidden in the wave too. Thank you. I’m on a ~8x10" tablet.
It occurs to me that when I showed up for fingerprinting in kindergarten WITHOUT one of my dad’s old shirts, Ms Milman had a smock I could wear.
Maybe polling places could start offering those.
I hope that you meant fingerpainting. Otherwise, I’ll assume that you were accusing the other children of trespassing in the sandbox, and subsequently extorting their lunch money.
Or a busted kindergarten criminal?
I think it’s not just that, but also, that they think or imagine that Harris voters would NOT be turned away for wearing Harris shirts.
I to saw the blue tidal wave overtaking a small orange head, and got the gist of it. I did not see Kamala’s name until it was pointed out.
Same. It’s a minor inconvenience, not something to get upset over.
But this…
Makes it makes sense.
The true believers don’t see Trump as just the best candidate available to them. They are “all in” in a very emotionally unhealthy way. This is one of the reasons MAGA is more of a cult than a political movement.
Trump over country.
Eh, turning the shirt inside out until you leave the polling place is simple enough.
