$2,500 a night for protesting? Where do I sign up?

Yeah, the whole idea of “mocking the protestors” makes absolutely no sense unless you buy into the ridiculous conspiracy theory that anti-Trump protestors in general are getting paid for protesting. (Narrator: We aren’t.)

Whaaaa… you mean I’ve been freezing my patootie off for NUTHIN’?

Hey, Soros, you’ve seen my CV; you know my ability to annoy people is legendary! I’m worth your top pay grade, yet I’m still waiting on that check they promised you’d be sending me…

Many of them are getting paid, that is not even in question. The mocking part is that there is a Dean, just like there would be in an accredited institution of higher learning. lol.

Hate to break it to you, but people who believe this are the butt of the joke.

Well, yeah, at their jobs. Which have nothing to do with their protesting activities.

I mean, who would even be paying people to protest?

I went to a protest yesterday. One side says “SHAME SHAME SHAME - ABOLISH ICE” on one side (I made it a few weeks ago but hadn’t used it in the meantime) and the other says “1991 NO BLOOD FOR OIL 2026.” We got a lot of thumbs up and honks, and even one woman who was so enthusiastic, she was weaving out of her lane. This was on a very busy four-lane main road beside a popular park, and a corner across the street was later occupied by 3 young children and two moms, who had signs written on construction paper. I couldn’t read them but I thought, “You’re raising these kids right!”

p.s. Where’s my $2,500?

Cite?

Tell me where to sign up, I really need the money.

Says who? Fox News? Uh-huh.

There is no evidence anywhere that anybody is paying “many” people to attend anti-Trump/anti-ICE protests.

I, for one, have been signing up for and attending major anti-Trump protests since the Women’s March on Washington in his first inauguration. Never in interacting with literally thousands of fellow protestors, organizers, coordinators, etc., have I seen even the slightest indication that anybody’s paying people to attend protests.

The “paid protestor” myth is a fantasy that Trump supporters and Trump-complicit media reach for to avoid having to recognize how many Americans genuinely despise Trump and what he’s doing to our country.

Is there some reason you don’t want people to question this?

This is the Dope, where “Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence” is assumed to be a given. If you have evidence that George Soros is bankrolling crowds of Trump Derangement Syndrome sufferers, please show it! Personally, I’m a little more suspicious of “Blacks for Trump” and “Latinos for Trump,” but will keep my counsel until I can provide some receipts.

According to the current orange-hued president of the US of A, in addition to the generous payments, you’re also provided with professionally made protest signs with comfortable leather handles. Sadly, no one know where to sign up for this largesse.

Maybe we should start another rumour:

“Trump Pays People To Attend His Rallies.”

It has as much truth as the “anti-Trump paid protester” crap.

Seems far more likely than the other claim, since somebody has been buying up tickets to empty seats for the “Melania” movie …
