Greetings, all.
Having watched Alien last night, I noted the cool little pictograms scattered over the interior of the Nostromo - little white squares with symbols like “ladder”, “spacesuit” etc. etc. A nifty detail in what still in my mind is one of the coolest sets ever made.
Now, I know I’ve seen a webpage with a complete list of the designs and their interpretation, but my lunch-break Google-fu has been weak so far. Is there one among the teeming millions who’ll be able to help me out?

I love that the “hazard/warning” sign is what we see before the crew starts to wake up.
I also heard that one described somewhere as being the symbol for “Purina Alien Chow.”

The “Radiation Hazard” sign is rather amusing, particularly when seen side-by-side with the “Area Shielded From Radiation” sign.
