Well, I was kind of subconsciously influenced by this thread and recently ordered Biaggi’s Penne Sardi. Which, I am now convinced is related to the “American Gulash”. It is basically a baked Garlic Oreganta Breadcrumb Gratin of Penne Macoronis with a chicken, Mushroom, Tomato Cream Sauce. Really quite good… but I don’t think it should have been a premium pasta at $14.00.
